Bike Education for Over 55's

The tailored small group course is designed to empower you to:

• complete a safety check on your bike and equipment
• check that your bike is correctly fitted and adjusted for you
• develop basic bike control skills such as braking, cornering, straight line riding, using gears and stopping in an emergency
• build confidence in essential on-road techniques such as signalling, scanning and using eye contact
• increase knowledge about riding around town confidently such as using shared paths and bike lanes and using local maps and apps for route planning.

There will be lots of time for Q&A.

Morning tea and light lunch will be provided.

This program is co-funded through a VicRoads Community Road Safety grant.
