Weeding and mulching at Peppers Paddock

Spring is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect time to get our site ready for a healthy burst of growth!

Friends of Watery Gully is inviting all members, friends, and community volunteers to roll up their sleeves and join in for a day of weeding and mulching.

Why join in?

• Weeding helps protect our native plants from competition and gives them the best chance to thrive.
• Mulching improves soil health, locks in moisture, and creates the perfect conditions for new growth.
• It’s also a great way to meet like-minded people, learn about our local environment, and make a real difference.

Whether you can stay for an hour or the whole morning, your help will go a long way toward restoring and strengthening our local environment. 

When

Location

Bring along gloves, a hat, sturdy shoes, and a water bottle. We’ll provide tools, mulch, and plenty of encouragement!
