Apply for a permit for multiple cats

Step 1.Prepare a diagram

Prepare a diagram of the area to be used by the cats showing:

• the area the cats will be kept
• any enclosures the cats will be kept in during the curfew hours (7.30pm to 6am daily)
• where the area and any enclosures or runs are in relation to neighbouring properties.

Step 2.Seek permission from the property owner

If you are not the property owner, you will need signed written permission from the property owner.

This will be uploaded at the time of submitting the online permit application form, or attached to your application form if applying in person or by mail.

Step 3.Submit the online form

Step 4.Pay the fee

After we receive your permit application, an invoice will be generated and emailed to you. This email will contain instructions on how to pay.

Step 2.Complete the application form

With your application, you'll need to provide:

• registration details for each cat
• a diagram of the area where the cats will be kept
• signed written permission from the property owner, if applicable.

Step 3.Visit Customer Service

Civic Centre at 32 Civic Drive Greensborough

Open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (excluding public holidays).

Step 4.Pay the application fee

Pay with cash, cheque, money order, EFTPOS, Mastercard or Visa. Note we do not accept Diners Club and American Express.
