National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week 2024 invites everyone to discover the power of volunteering with the theme ‘Something for Everyone’.

It’s a celebration of diverse passions and talents, emphasising that there’s a perfect role for each person in the world of volunteering. Whether it’s the environment, community, education, or more, there’s a place where everyone’s unique skills shine.

Join us during National Volunteer Week, 20 to 26 May as we showcase the array of opportunities available, highlighting how each person can find their meaningful role in making a difference.

Volunteers help to make Nillumbik a more connected, safer, resilient and inclusive place to live.  They turn their passion into purpose by serving across a range of Council programs, community groups, services, facilities, clubs, causes and organisations.

Mayor Ben Ramcharan said National Volunteer Week is a time to highlight the crucial role volunteering has at the heart of our community.
