Weekday Bird Walks - Woodridge Linear Reserve

Join Council's Biodiversity Officer for a morning bird walk at Woodridge Linear Reserve.

This event offers a wonderful opportunity to observe and learn about local bird species in their natural habitat, just in time for the Aussie Backyard Bird Count by Birdlife Australia from 20-26 October!

Get practical training from our experienced Biodiversity Officer on how to ID birds and how to participate in Australia's largest citizen science program.

We welcome all experience levels from curious beginners to serious twitchers. We will survey for birds, discuss calls heard, discuss the various citizen science and bird identification guides for bird observations, discuss habitats and how the birds use them.

We are are also running a second bird walk on 21 October during the Bird Count.
