Small and Home-Based Business Forum: Find Your Voice

Next date: Tuesday, 10 November 2026 | 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Running your business from the kitchen table, garage, spare room or small commercial space?

You don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Join Nillumbik Shire Council and Banyule City Council for a half-day forum designed specifically for small and home-based business owners who want to strengthen their story, build confidence on social media and connect with other local businesses.

Featuring communications expert and professional speaker Jordana Borensztajn, the forum will deliver practical, jargon-free advice to help you find your brand’s voice, tell your story and put what you learn into action.

Whether you’re posting on social media for the first time or simply want to communicate your business more confidently online, this session will meet you where you’re at.

You’ll leave with:

• a clearer understanding of your business and brand story
• practical ways to communicate that story on social media
• five actions you can start using straight away
• greater confidence creating content
• new connections with other local business owners
• an opportunity to connect with Council business support teams.
