International Day of People with Disability

International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is held each year across the world on 3 December.

IDPwD is a United Nations observed day aimed at raising awareness and celebrating the achievements and contributions of people with disabilities, both visible and invisible.

International Day of People with Disability grants

Each year, Council offers grants of up to $1,000 to support community groups, schools and not-for-profit organisations to run events or activities to acknowledge and celebrate International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD).

Applications for 2025 are now closed.

2026 IDPwD grants will open in June 2026.
