Master Locksmiths Access Key logo

The Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK) allows 24 hour a day access to a national network of accessible public toilets and changing facilities as well as adaptive playground equipment. 

In Nillumbik, the MLAK key provides access to:

  • Accessible toilet facilities at the shopping centre on the corner of Heidelberg - Kinglake Road and Wensley Street in Diamond Creek

  • The Liberty Swing at Eltham North Adventure Playground

Eligibility for an MLAK key

 Eligibility is restricted to people who have a disability or have written authority from:

  • A doctor
  • A disability organisation
  • A community health centre
  • The owner or management of a building with an MLAK accessible facility onsite 

How to apply for an MLAK key

Eligible people can purchase an MLAK master key from their nearest Master Locksmith, or freecall 1800 810 698

Liberty Swing at Eltham North Adventure Playground

The Liberty Swing is a swing for wheelchair users. You can obtain a key from Edendale Community Environment Farm which is open 9.30am - 4.30pm daily except Christmas Day, Extreme and Code Red fire danger days.  

Ask at reception or speak to one of the farmers. ID is required
