Be In Motion - Exercise At Home

A senior man and senior woman are doing exercise in their home.

Are you looking to improve your fitness and health from the comfort of your own home? Are you 55 and over and currently not doing 30 minutes of physical activity each day?

Nillumbik Shire Council, in collaboration with Aligned Leisure, has developed a gentle exercise guide, which provides a specifically-designed home exercise program aimed at improving the four pillars of health for adults: balance, strength, aerobic and flexibility.

You can download a digital copy of the booklet at the bottom of this page, or pick up a hard copy of the booklet for free at:

- Diamond Creek Community Centre

Each booklet contains a free visit pass to use at any of the Nillumbik Leisure Facilities.

Alternatively, contact Positive Ageing on 9433 3345 or email with your postal address and we will post a copy to you.
