Due to the Grand Final Eve public holiday, Council’s offices, customer service desk and the Recycling Centre will be closed on Friday 29 September. Bin collections will continue as normal.
Shopping trolleys should not be left in public areas such as parks, garden beds, creeks, footpaths or on nature strips or roads. They must be returned to the shopping centre where they came from.
Shopping trolleys that are not returned to their owner are considered litter. They can pose a hazard to pedestrians and road users and are unsightly in our parks and reserves. They can also have an environmental impact if they enter drains and waterways.
Residents and businesses are encouraged to report abandoned trolleys using one of the methods listed below.
The method of reporting the trolley will depend on which business the trolley belongs to.
