Most signs that are erected in Nillumbik require planning approval to ensure they are safe and do not negatively impact community amenity.
Political signage is not permitted to be displayed on Council land.
If you see a sign that is dangerous or does not have approval, you can report it to Council and we will investigate.
Signage on private property that does not have approval will be forwarded to our Planning department, while illegal signage on public land is investigated by our Community Safety team.
