Council is currently undertaking a review of the Nillumbik Planning Scheme, as required under the Planning and Environment Act 1987.
The purpose of the review is to evaluate how effectively the current scheme is functioning while aligning with State Government policy. It helps to respond to current and emerging trends and identify gaps.
The draft has been developed based on extensive community consultation conducted over recent years, input through the Nillumbik 2040 Community Vision, and current planning trends, and is now available for public viewing.
While feedback is not being sought at this stage, there will be future opportunities for the community to provide input as individual projects progress.
