Annual Report

The annual report details the operations and performance of Nillumbik Shire Council each financial year.

The Annual Report 2024-2025 was endorsed by Council at the meeting of 28 October 2025.

Key results:

More than 80 per cent of priority actions in the annual action plan either completed or on track for completion.
Delivery of almost 90 per cent of the 2024-2025 capital works program, despite ongoing industry disruptions including labour and material shortages causing project delays.
A strong financial position and no new borrowings in the 2024-2025 year.

Other highlights include the completion and opening of several community projects, including Ryans Reserve, the Nillumbik Youth Hub and Herberts Lane Playspace in Diamond Creek as well as updates to Eltham Woods and Research preschools, Kangaroo Ground Tennis Club carpark upgrades, and continued work to establish Edendale Community Environment Farm as a climate action hub.
