Background

The Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool is much loved by the community. However the facility is ageing, and some components have reached their end of useful life. Upgrades are required to meet current user expectations and ensure the facility is used for years to come.

Council has received $1.5 million in Australian Government funding via the Investing in Our Communities Program for improvements to Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool. These improvements will enhance the overall user experience of this key community asset.

Rejuvenated toddlers' play pool area
Spectator improvements
New accessible BBQ
Swimming club room improvements
New plant equipment
Upgraded walkways to ensure accessible paths to all areas

Project updates

June 2025: Works on the upgrade have commenced with demolition and preparatory works underway.

May 2025: Establishment of the site has been completed in preparation for the project.

April 2025: With the completion of the summer season, the Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool has closed, and the upgrade construction works have commenced.
