Background

Research Park Oval is home to Research Junior Football Club and Eltham Collegians Cricket Club. 

The previous scoreboard was installed in 2010-11 at the oval and did not meet requirements for training and games at night and in adverse conditions.

The upgrade project includes a 150 lux LED system to support improved light, energy efficiency and overall improvement to the capability of the facility into the future.

Works include

• Removal of existing scoreboard
• Supply & Installation of a new LED scoreboard on a freestanding steel structure
• Laptop & sender box for video board control

Funding details

The Research Park Oval Scoreboard upgrade is being funded with:

• Up to $80,000 through the Victorian Government’s 2025-26 Community Sport and Recreation Projects
