Energy and sustainable living advice

Council offers a personalised advisory service for Nillumbik residents and businesses, on how to navigate the confusing world of energy and sustainable living.

Energy topics include:

  • going all electric
  • solar
  • electric vehicles
  • bulk-buys
  • draught-proofing, insulation and windows
  • saving energy, finding better energy deals and rebates.

You can also get advice on sustainable living topics such as food production, waste reduction, building and renovating, and water efficiency around the home, business and landscape.

A Sustainable Home Audit Kit will also be available for demonstration, and advice can be provided regarding its use and the interpretation of results.
