Join members of the Greensborough Historical Society to celebrate their new publication: "Walking the Kurrum Yallock (Plenty River): History, Heritage and Environment Part Two" by Anne Paul. Presented in partnership with Yarra Plenty Regional Library.
The book will be launched by The Hon Colin Brooks MP, Member for Bundoora, Minister for Industry and Advanced Manufacturing, Minister for Defence Industry, Minister for Skills and TAFE.
Kurrum Yallock, a.k.a. the Plenty River, is Melbourne’s third river. While diminished since European settlement, the river provides an important wildlife corridor and recreational resource, along with many links to its settlement heritage.
Copies of the book will be available for sale from the author. Cash sales only.
This is a free event, but places are limited so please RSVP today.
