Strong People Stay Young is a supportive strength‑training program designed to help community members build muscle, improve mobility, and boost overall wellbeing.
Based on the evidence‑informed model developed by Dr Miriam Nelson, the program focuses on building strength to help prevent conditions such as osteoporosis and diabetes, while supporting healthy ageing and confidence in everyday movement.
Sessions are supervised by dedicated volunteers who have been specially trained by physiotherapists, ensuring exercises are safe, effective, and tailored to individual ability levels.
Whether you're looking to stay active, build strength, or connect with others, this program offers a friendly and encouraging environment.
