Located on Main Road, Eltham Lower Park incorporates:

  • Two playgrounds - Eltham Copper Butterfly Playspace and Eltham Lower Park playground
  • Two sports ovals - front oval (also referred to as oval number one or North oval) and the back oval (also referred to as oval number two or South oval, which is a fenced off-leash dog area)
  • Diamond Valley Railway

Dogs at Eltham Lower Park

  • Dogs are permitted off leash at Lenister Farm and in the Eltham Lower Park Dog Park
  • Dogs are permitted off leash on ovals when not in use by schools or sporting clubs
  • Dogs must remain on leash outside of the ovals and within five metres of shared paths. This includes the Eltham Bushland Reserve and Quarry Reserve. Refer to on site signage
  • Dogs are not permitted in the Pines Picnic Site, Hohnes Hill Reserve, Eltham Lower Park Playground and Eltham Copper Butterfly Playground at any time

In off-leash areas, dogs must under effective control, which means your dog needs to stay within constant sight, and respond when you call.
