Established in 2025, the reserve provides a unique destination for local families, trail users and visitors to enjoy the outdoors.
Designed as a nature-inspired play space, the playground encourages children to explore, imagine and connect with the natural environment. Carefully integrated rock features promote informal play opportunities, while a range of climbing and sensory elements support active recreation, discovery and skill development.
The linear reserve offers a peaceful setting to pause during a walk or ride along the Diamond Creek Trail, making it an ideal place for children to play and families to relax and enjoy the surrounding landscape. Dogs are generally allowed on the grassed areas while on leash, but are not permitted within five metres of the playground.
