Mural

A standout feature of Kirrip Park is the striking mural that spans the length of the Kirrip Pavilion.

Created by local artist Hayden Dewar, the artwork celebrates the rich biodiversity and natural environment of Nillumbik through vibrant illustrations of native flora and fauna.

Drawing inspiration from the local landscape, the mural showcases several species that are significant to the area, including the Eltham Copper Butterfly, brushtail possum, kookaburra, blue-tongue lizard, musk lorikeet, and native eucalyptus foliage.

These elements reflect the unique ecological character of the region and help foster a connection between visitors and the local environment.
