Kirrip Playspace is a popular family destination in the heart of Greensborough, combining quality play opportunities with picnic and community facilities in a welcoming park setting.

Located alongside the Kirrip Pavilion and nearby amphitheatre, the playspace provides a vibrant recreational hub for children, families and visitors of all ages.

Mural

A standout feature of the site is the colourful mural along the Kirrip Pavilion, created by artist Hayden Dewar.

Inspired by local native flora and fauna, the artwork features species including the Eltham Copper Butterfly, brushtail possum, kookaburra, blue-tongue lizard and musk lorikeet, reflecting the area's unique environmental character.

Playground

The playground is complemented by a range of amenities including a basketball ring, sheltered BBQs, picnic tables and public toilets, making it an ideal location for family gatherings, celebrations and outdoor recreation.

The surrounding open space offers plenty of room for children to play, explore and enjoy the outdoors.

You can bring your dog to the park but they must:

  • be on a leash
  • not be within five metres of the playground or barbeques
  • stay within five metres of the path.
