Preparedness pop-ups

We are popping up in community spaces near you to help you with preparing your home and loved ones for any sort of emergency!

Along with the CFA and SES, we will be going around the Shire to answer your questions around emergency preparedness.

No booking necessary, just come by for a chat and to pick up some resources about emergency management relevant to you - maybe the CFA booklet on landscaping in bushfire-prone areas, managing horses and other animals when evacuating, or perhaps to look at the SES flood map for your neighbourhood and grab a magnet with emergency numbers for your fridge!

Introduction to Emergency Planning workshops

Have you got an emergency plan for you and your family?

Emergencies can happy any time, and being prepared makes it easier to protect the people, pets and things that matter most to you.

Emergency planning can be daunting, but in this free workshop, we will show you ways to take those first steps and how things we can do in our daily lives can help in an emergency.

With representatives from the Red Cross, SES (State Emergency Service) and CFA (Country Fire Authority) sharing their expertise and top tips, you will leave this workshop more confident and better prepared to keep you, your loved ones and your wider community safe.

Tea and coffee will be provided. Children are welcome and some colouring in sheets will be provided.
