Request a replacement pet tag

When you register your pet for the first time, we will send you a plastic registration tag. Attach this tag to your pet's collar to help us reunite you if they get lost.

If you want to change collars, we recommend using a split ring to easily transfer the tag when needed.

Our registration tags are designed to last a lifetime, so you won’t receive a new one each year.

If you’ve lost or damaged your tag, or can’t read the numbers clearly, you can request a replacement.

Fees

A fee of $15 applies for a replacement pet tag. This amount is correct as of 1 July 2025.

Step 1.Have your details ready

To complete your request, you will need to provide:

  • your name
  • email address
  • pet's name
  • address where the pet is kept.

Optionally, if you have the existing tag and can provide the registration number, this will be helpful, along with your pet's microchip number if known.

Step 2.Complete the online form

Step 4.Tag is posted

We will send your replacement tag in the mail. Allow 10 business days for the tag to be produced and sent.

Step 3.Pay the fee

A fee applies. You can pay by VISA, Mastercard, cash or cheque.

Step 4.Tag is issued

We will create your replacement tag and give it to you on the spot.
