Compostable cups and containers

Cups and containers labelled 'compostable' or 'biodegradable'.

• Contact the individual brand for advice on home composting or commercial composting options.
• Dispose of in your red landfill bin.

The composting facility that accepts Nillumbik's kerbside green waste does not accept compostable or biodegradable packaging as this material does not break down quick enough and reduces the quality of the compost created.
