The Inclusion and Access Advisory Committee aims to make Nillumbik a more welcoming, inclusive and accessible place for people with disability, their families and carers
The committee consists of people with disability, carers, and representatives from key local disability services and community groups who provide support to people with disability in Nillumbik. It provides a mechanism for members to support the development and delivery of actions within Council plans and strategies concerning inclusion and access for people with disability and their carers.
Details of the committee objectives, membership, the role of committee members and more is provided in the Inclusion and Access Advisory Committee Terms of Reference(DOCX, 962KB).
Committee meetings are held on the fourth Friday of every second month from 10am to 12pm (unless negotiated otherwise due to availability) at various locations throughout the Shire, or virtually if required.
The current Committee was appointed for a two-year term from June 2025.
