Change or find property details

Notify Council of a change in property ownership details

If you have recently bought a property, you are responsible for notifying us about the change in property ownership.

Update your contact details for rates

If your postal address has changed, you will need to let us know so that we can send your rates notice to you.

Apply for a land information certificate

If you are buying or selling a property, you can get land information certificate from Council for the Section 32 or Contract of Sale.

Apply for farm land rates

If your property is used for farming, you can apply to get your property classified as farm land for rates.

Request neighbouring property ownership details for fencing

If you need to locate the owner of a neighbouring property to build or repair a dividing fence, you can make a request to Council for the property ownership details.

Request a change of street number

If you want to change your street number or address (for example, if you live on a corner property) you will need to make a request to Council.

Receive your rates notice via email

You can sign up to eNotices to get your rates notice delivered directly to your email inbox.
