Recycling bin

Our mixed recycling bins have a yellow lid. The contents are sent to be recycled.

When it's collected

The recycling bin is collected fortnightly.

To find out when your recycling bin will be picked up next, visit check your bin day.

What goes in

• Hard/rigid plastic (plastics holding a shape or form) bottles and containers
• Cardboard (including lightly soiled pizza boxes)
• Paper, newspaper and magazines
• Steel or aluminium cans, trays, aerosol cans and foil (scrunched in a ball)
• Glass bottles and jars

Don't put these items in

• Plastic bags and soft plastics
• Batteries and electric items
• Food and liquid
• Clothing

Additional bins

The standard size is a 240 litre bin. You can request an additional 240 litre bin.
